Nine months of arrangements, nine months of waiting… and “nine months” simply recalls pure love… the pure love of Romi and Recio captured all the senses in their fairy Venetian wedding, on September 16th, 2019. Romi and Recio met in Los Angeles at a dinner for Sherry Moore, the Director/Curator of “Portraits of the Fallen.” When the two got engaged in Fiji two years later, Romi knew that getting married in Italy was Recio’s dream since the age of 11 and so… #RomiAndReciosVenetianWedding was born.  In December of 2018, they scoped out venues and fell in love with the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, where Simona, the owner of Vip Service Italia, works as event coordinator. The hotel is a mélange of the 16th and 21st centuries that has a storied history.  The Ridotto Theatre became in 1638 Europe’s first casino in which Casanova and other nobles would gamble, mingle with courtesans and smoke opium. Decades later, the Ridotto was joined with the Hotel Monac
